CLIENT: The Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States

PROJECT: 10 years of Pope Francis pontificate

 

The Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States is a global network that, under the guidance of the Pope, provides essential resources to vulnerable populations in more than 1100 mission territories.
Among the campaigns we are conducting with them is the commemoration of the tenth anniversary of Francis’ papacy.

CLIENTE: Fleer Española S.L

PROYECTO: Exhibitor Buble bubble

Fleer Española S.L. is a food company specialised in the chewing gum sector. Its portfolio includes such emblematic brands in the Spanish market as Buble bubble and Clicx.

 

At La Machi we carried out design and channel communication work for several Fleer Española S.L. brands.

In the extraordinary circumstances presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Professor Mireia Las Heras, Research Director at the International Center for Work and Family (IESE – University of Navarra), has developed a study in which more than 700 people have participated, recounting their experiences in remote work.

 

For this project, at La Machi we produced a series of infographics that represent the best practices of remote working, covering topics such as:

-Personal management

-Team management

-Management towards the bosses

-Management in the family

-The effects of the leader on his employees

-The effects of COVID-19 circumstances and employee preferences

CLIENT: Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer).

PROJECT: The Pope Video is a global initiative of the Pope’s World Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer) to assist in the dissemination of the Holy Father’s monthly prayer intentions related to the challenges facing humanity.

 

From La Machi we lead the idea and the whole production of the videos, from the creation of texts and the scripts to the audiovisual production and the press and diffusion campaign, using a digital platform conformed by a website – www.thepopevideo.org – and profiles in the main social networks.

 

Some results obtained:

  • +135 million visits in their own networks.
  • Versions in 14 different languages.
  • +100 countries in which the media have covered the news.
  • 18 recognitions obtained so far (Premio Mercurio, ¡Bravo !, WINA, Publifestival, FICE and Religion Communicators Council).

July 2020. Our families. Let us pray that today’s families may be accompanied with love, respect and guidance, and especially, that they may be protected by the State.

August 2020. The maritime world. Let us pray for all those who work and live from the sea, among them sailors, fishermen and their families.

September 2020. Respect for the Planet’s Resources. Let us pray that the planet’s resources will not be plundered, but shared in a just and respectful manner. No to plundering; yes to sharing.

October 2020. Women in leadership roles in the Church. We pray that by the virtue of baptism, the laity, especially women, may participate more in areas of responsibility in the Church, without falling into forms of clericalism that diminish the lay charism.

November 2020. Artificial Intelligence. Let us pray that the progress of robotics and artificial intelligence may always serve humankind.

December 2020. For a life of prayer. We pray that our personal relationship with Jesus Christ be nourished by the Word of God and a life of prayer.

CLIENT: Migrants & Refugees Section – Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development

PROJECT: World Day of Migrants and Refugees 2019

The Church has celebrated World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR) since 1914. On September 29th, 2019, the 105th WDMR was celebrated in St. Peter’s Square, for which we have developed a campaign of preparation, solidarity and prayer for the challenges faced by all migrants around the world.

The theme chosen for the WDMR 2019 was “It’s not only about migrants” and from La Machi we created a series of digital content for 7 subtopics, during 7 months, integrated by videos and posts for social networks, produced in 6 languages.

Production of video of the three dayS of conferences and debates held in Rome on the Common Good and the digital world, organized by the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and the Pontifical Council for Culture.

 

CLIENTE: Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network

PROJECT: The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network has introduced a new way of involving young people in the prayer of the Rosary through the launch of a digital rosary. Click To Pray eRosary, for Peace in the World, was a project carried out in collaboration with GadgeTek Inc. of the ACER group. It was realized in order to take advantage of new technologies to encourage the prayer in a digital language that attracts and motivates young people.

Click To Pray eRosary was launched on October 15, 2019, during the Extraordinary Missionary Month and from La Machi we were in charge of the following tasks:

– Planning and follow up of the press campaign for the launch of Click To Pray eRosary

– Consulting on web strategy www.clicktoprayerosary.org and app (available for iOS and Android)

– Planning of the Launch event at the Holy See Press Office (Vatican)

– Public Relations Service

– Brand Naming Service

– Design and realization of the logo and brand manual

– Production of the promotional videos available in five languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese)

– Design, creation and adaptation to languages of the graphic arts and infographics about Click To Pray eRosary

 

CLIENT: Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer).

PROJECT: The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network celebrated 175 years of its birth as the Apostleship of Prayer and 10 years since the beginning of the process of recreation of this service of the Holy See, approved by Pope Francis in 2014.

From La Machi Communication for Good Causes, we carried out the communication and part of the organization of the celebration event, for which we developed a website, live transmission, videos, print ads, programs of the event, press campaign, banners and other materials that were fundamental for the diffusion of this international event that gathered more than 5,000 people from all over the world in Rome during 2 full days.

United in a mission of compassion for the world. From its beginnings, the Apostleship of Prayer, now configured as the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, proposes a way of compassion for the world.

The Way of the Heart. The “Way of the Heart” is a formation itinerary of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network which opens us up to a mission of compassion for the world.

Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network. The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network has as its mission to mobilize Christians for prayer and action for the challenges of humanity and the mission of the Church.

Apostolic Readiness. The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network invites you to place your life at the disposition of the mission of Christ, just as when the Lord called his disciples to “put out into the deep: and “let down your nets.”

Eucharistic Youth Movement. The EYM is an international movement of Christian formation for children and young adults from 5 to 25 years of age that proposes to them to live in the style of Jesus, growing in friendship with him in a “heart-to-heart” relationship.

How may I participate in the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network? The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network offers you several ways to participate. Praying for the intentions of Pope Francis and uniting yourself to the monthly days of prayer on the first Fridays of each month, individually or with your community or parish.

 

CLIENT: Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat (Society of Jesus)

PROJECT: The Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat, www.sjesjesuits.global, assists Fr. General in developing the apostolic mission of the Society, through its dimension for promoting justice and reconciliation with creation.

This project was carried out on to renovate the previous website and, in addition, on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Secretariat. From La Machi we were in charge of the following tasks:

– Analysis of the previous website and presentation of a new proposal.

– Design and development of the website: compilation of the contents, presentation of the architecture and design of wireframes.

– Web content management: news, documents, images.

– Web optimization (SEO).

– Incorporation of a search engine on the website and on the documents’ sections “Promotio Iustitae” and “Resources”.

– Adaptation of the website to different languages: English, Spanish, French and Italian.

– Linking of the website to the Email Marketing platform: Mailchimp.

– Customer training on the use of WordPress and Mailchimp.

 

CLIENT: Talitha Kum and Galileo Foundation

PROJECT: 

Ten years ago the Catholic Church created Talitha Kum, a network of religious sisters throughout the world to combat the scourge of human trafficking and slavery. 10 years later, Talitha Kum network spans 77 countries and involves over 2,000 nuns who have devoted their lives to the victims and the survivors of trafficking.

For this special anniversary, the Galileo Foundation released the campaign “Nuns Healing Hearts” which, with the ecclesial support of the Migrants & Refugees Section and the marvelous work of the photographer Lisa Kristine,  takes the first step in a sentimental fundraising campaign to help Talitha Kum continue its mission, expanding its networks and saving each year hundreds of women around the world.

 

From La Machi we developed a Photo exhibition at St Paul’s Audience Hall in Vatican City, which had the presence of Pope Francis, and all the campaign to communicate this campaign launching, which included press, print, videos a social media campaign and a fundraising oriented website.

CLIENT: Migrants & Refugees Section – Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development

PROJECT: Open Innovation Platform – Pastoral Orientations on Human Trafficking.

 

The Migrants & Refugees Section from the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, organized on April 2019 an international conference to reflect pastorally and practically on the implementation of the Pastoral Orientations on Human Trafficking document and translate them into concrete actions. The Pastoral Orientations on Human Trafficking is a document aimed at orienting the action of the whole Catholic Church to fight against human trafficking. Practical guidelines to make the Church’s commitment in the fight against human trafficking more appropriate and effective.

 

To help the attendants and organisers to have a successful conference La Machi Communication for Good Causes developed an open innovation platform which allowed the participants to work simultaneously online, submitting proposals, debating, voting and giving the M&R section a rich content to keep working on practical actions for the Church to fight against the tragic situation of the criminal smuggling and human trafficking. For the Migrants & Refugees Section the results were 100% positive, bringing up almost 700 proposals which were edited in a final document of conclusions and proposals for the Church to take action in the human trafficking field.

We also carried out the production of communication pieces for the conference such as videos and posters.

August 2019. Families, Schools of Human Development. That families, through their life of prayer and love, become ever more clearly “schools of true human development”.

October 2019. Missionary spring in the Church. That the Holy Spirit engender a new missionary spring in the Church.

December 2019. The future of the very young. That every country decides to take necessary measures to make the future of children a priority, especially the future of children who are suffering today.

CLIENT: Idente Youth

PROJECT:  Salamanca World Youth Parliament 2019 Video.

Creation of a video aimed at university students around the world to participate in the World Youth Parliament, 2019 edition, calling on these curious people and activists who want to work together for world peace.

 

 

CLIENT:  Pontifical Mission Societies, Spain

PROJECT:  Missionary Childhood is a creation of the Pope, which promotes mutual aid among children throughout the world. In this work children act as little missionaries and are protagonists of Evangelization. Missionary Childhood gives children a leading role in missionary service: they are the agents, donors and recipients of the missionary task. With the motto “Children helping children“, Missionary Childhood is a school of faith and solidarity.

How do we join this project from La Machi?

By creating and producing a four-episode animation series that tells the story of Jesus’ childhood and his missionary vocation. The videos are launched annually, having already released the 2018 and 2019 editions.
